A high performance rigid, closed cell polyurethane foam system suitable for a wide range of gap filling and buoyancy applications.
‘Tripor 207’ is a high density, rigid foam system which may be poured in place to fill cavities. It is ideally suitable for model and pattern-making applications.
The system relies on the thorough mixing of two low viscosity liquids by either hand or machine mix techniques.
‘Tripor 207’ contains no CFC’s or HCFC’s and therefore has an Ozone Depletion
Potential (O.D.P.) of zero.
Component “A” (SKU: 5210) & component “B” (SKU: 5211) can be purchased separately.
Product Description
FOAM MANUFACTURE
The foam is produced by the mixing together of the two Components A and B at a ratio of 1 to 1.2 by weight. In hand mixing the stirring time should be 50 seconds
after which the mix should immediately be transferred to the cavity to be filled.
The foam should be processed between the temperatures of 15 – 250C. The following times are appropriate for an ambient temperature of 200C (68oF). Lower temperatures
will give slower reaction, higher temperature faster.
Reaction times will also be affected by the bulk mixed, larger amount will give shorter times, small amounts longer times.
