4″ CSM Bandage (73m) Roll
A fibreglass 450g bandage roll suitable for flat-roofing joints.
Bandage all joints between trim sections and between trim and decking.
Where trims meet the deck bandage should be applied directly from the roll. Apply bandage 2″ on the deck and 2″ on the tail of the trim. Using a small 3″ lambswool roller be careful to cover the clout nail heads and avoid resin running down trim face. Consolidate laminating with a small paddle roller and the stippling action of a paintbrush.
All trim overlaps should be bandaged into place including detail dressing of per-formed corners.
8 x 4 non T& G boards need to have joints spaced as per manufacturers instructions, taped with masking tape and then bandaged across the joints.
Please note if purchasing a Stronghold GRP kit and are using WBP ply (or any OSB 3 alternative as 2nd best option): Guarantee only available when joints are taped and bandaged.
